Global Launch of Solid Shop

What is Solid Shop?

Solid Shop is SolidCAM’s shop-floor communication platform. My role was to translate its complex workflows into a simple narrative for global launch.

What I did

• Translated complex features (DNC, file control, part traceability) into digestible product messaging

• Scripted, filmed, and delivered the global launch video

• Localized versions for international teams, including full Brazil rollout

• Coordinated with product + regional teams to align on feature positioning

• Supported trade show usage and partner presentations

CAD → CAM → Solid Shop → Machine → Finished Part

Why It Mattered

This video became SolidCAM’s primary asset for introducing Solid Shop globally and helped simplify the product for thousands of machinists.
